Edmund Lam, MBA · Founder & Principal
Edmund has spent his career turning business needs into products, workflows, and systems people can actually use.
Earlier in his career, he worked on the technology-vendor side, leading products in enterprise software and AI/ML SaaS, including at Cisco. Today, alongside Transformly, he leads Revenue Operations and cross-functional business systems inside an MEP engineering firm.
His work spans CRM and sales operations, management reporting, knowledge reuse, operational workflows, automation, and practical AI adoption.
That combination shapes Transformly: understand the business problem, translate it into something practical, and improve it through real use.
Edmund believes good consulting should leave both the organization and its people more capable. He enjoys helping clients question assumptions, explore new possibilities, and develop the confidence to approach problems differently, especially as AI changes what's possible. He values relationships built on trust, candor, curiosity, and learning together.
AEC from the inside
Edmund entered architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) after years in technology and has learned the industry's workflows and operating context from inside an engineering firm.
Transformly works primarily with AEC firms and selectively with other project-based professional-services organizations facing similar operating challenges.
Practical AI
AI expands what Edmund can research, analyze, build, and test.
He uses it as one part of business-systems work, with human review and business judgment kept in the workflow. The business problem stays the starting point.
